SYN-ISR is a digital training kit to complement real-world training military exercises by creating virtual surveillance feeds that could ingest real-world positioning and data and realistically populate actors and vehicles into the synthetic feed.

Most training exercises involve participants “role-playing” as military, civilian, or opposing force (OpFor.) In combination with a cellphone app, each participant’s location and physical features (gender, clothing, equipment, etc.) could be accurately placed in the virtual environment, allowing for more accurate training of drone operators and ISR personnel.
